For nearly three decades, a night at Disney’s BoardWalk wasn’t complete without the thundering applause, off-key singalongs, and piano-fueled energy of Jellyrolls. The iconic dueling piano bar, known for its high-octane atmosphere and late-night magic, is officially closing its doors on April 19, 2025.
And for many Disney fans—especially College Program alumni and longtime Cast Members—this farewell hits deep.
🎶 A BoardWalk Staple Since 1996
Jellyrolls first opened in 1996 alongside the expansion of Disney’s BoardWalk Resort. Tucked near the end of the promenade, it quickly earned a reputation as one of Walt Disney World’s only true nightlife spots that wasn’t tied to a sit-down meal or park ticket.
With no setlist, a bar full of napkin song requests, and two pianists battling for crowd adoration, Jellyrolls was like a live-action jukebox—with heavy helpings of Bohemian Rhapsody, Sweet Caroline, and Tiny Dancer.
🧢 The Glory of Cast Member Tuesdays

If you know, you know.
Tuesday night at Jellyrolls was Cast Member Night, and it was legendary.
For years—especially throughout the 2000s and 2010s—Tuesday was when Disney’s College Program participants, park Cast, resort teams, and behind-the-scenes crew let loose. It was a who’s-who of name tags, lanyards, drink specials, and stress relief after long shifts in the sun.
It wasn’t just about cheap beer or discounted entry—it was community. It was the sound of 100 voices yelling the chorus of Don’t Stop Believin’ in unison after working the fireworks crowd at Magic Kingdom. It was every character attendant, attraction host, and culinary CP united under a roof of neon lights and Billy Joel covers.
🥂 Memories, Mistakes, and Magic
Jellyrolls wasn’t “Disney polished.” It was gritty, loud, boozy, and proudly unpredictable.
You could celebrate a birthday, cry over a breakup, sing with strangers, or meet the love of your life (or just your karaoke partner for the night). You couldn’t buy a meal, but you could fill up on popcorn and cocktails and laughter that made your voice hoarse for days.
Even guests unfamiliar with dueling pianos would leave shaking their heads, saying, “I had no idea Disney had something like this.”
🏗️ What Comes Next?
Jellyrolls’ final performance is scheduled for Saturday, April 19, 2025, with admission set at $22 per person. It’s expected to be packed wall-to-wall with fans and former Cast Members returning to pay tribute.
As of now, Disney has not officially confirmed what will replace it. Rumors swirl of a more dining-focused concept or a reimagined nightlife experience more aligned with Disney Springs vibes. Before Jellyrolls, the space was part of Atlantic Dance Hall, and speculation suggests that Disney could lean back into a broader entertainment venue or possibly use the real estate for resort amenities.
✨ Is This Really Goodbye?
Not necessarily.
The team at Jellyrolls has hinted at a possible relocation, though details remain tight-lipped. The outpouring of love—and the massive response to the closure news—makes it clear there’s a demand for its return.
And honestly? Jellyrolls has always been more than the building. It’s the vibe. The players. The crowds. The energy that only happens when 150 strangers belt “Livin’ on a Prayer” like their lives depend on it.
If there’s one thing Disney fans know how to do, it’s keep the music playing—even after the lights go down.
